Dear Church,
This trip is so cool! I am so glad that we got to come here. The people
here are so sweet, and they are so grateful for the services. They sometimes
travel for up to 12 hours to bring their family members here. It is very heartbreaking
that some of them can't have their surgeries done. But the good news is that
we did alot today. We were here at 7 am and are still working now, and it is 6:30
pm. there are many children with cleft palates, and that is what I did all
day today. Jay did many general type of surgeries, like hernias, and gallbladder
surgeries.
We unfortunately cannot download pictures here, but they have a person here doing
a blog and photo gallery for the website. If you go to faithinpractice.org,
then click on trip log, and then click on photo gallery. She will download a specialty
every day, and today was cleft palates ( I am on page 3!)
