My family is originally from Alabama, however; I have spent most of my life in Texas.
I grew up a Navy brat and lived in many great places growing up including San Diego,
California, Norfolk, Virginia, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Pensacola, Florida
and Texas City/La Marque, Texas.
After the military, my family moved back
to Galveston County.....more specifically, La Marque. La Marque was a great place
to grow up in the 1970's. After High School, I attended West Texas State University
and studied classical voice. During that same time, I had the opportunity
to perform with the Amarillo Symphony Orchestra, Houston Grand Opera and the Houston
Concert Chorale. Through the years, I have gone from classical music to country
to a 9 year period of revivals and concerts and now working in a local church as
a Worship Pastor.
During my 9 years of evangelism, we were blessed to have
signed a record contract and had 8 consecutive Top 10 Songs on the Christian Charts.
At one point, our travels took us over 200,000 miles a year. For the past 21 years,
I have served in the ministry and enjoyed every minute of it.
At my 10 year
High School Reunion, I was awarded the most unusual occupation. I thought
that was hilarious! God has a sense of humor. It's been quite a ride!
Through it all, my wife Jami has been right along side me all the way. I couldn't
have done it without her.
